Uttarakhand News:

With the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and guidance of CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, ‘Chief Minister’s Skill Development and Global Employment Scheme’, run by the Employment Department, is providing employment opportunities abroad to the youth of the state. The government claimed that under the scheme, 15 youths, wishing to make their career in the field of nursing in Germany, are being given German language training in Dehradun. All the said youth are currently doing private jobs in Dehradun after doing courses like B.Sc Nursing, GNM. Now after getting foreign language training and getting employment in Germany, they are going to bring laurels not only to Uttarakhand but also to the country. With the efforts of the Uttarakhand government, these youths have already been selected in various hospitals of Germany at a salary of Rs 2.5 to 3.5 lakh per month, for this they just have to pass the B-2 Level Exam in German language.

According to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, there is no dearth of talent among the youth of Uttarakhand. Therefore, our effort is to prepare the youth power for global employment by providing skills. These youth will not only bring glory to Uttarakhand but also to the country abroad.

Prashant Rawat, a resident of Kotdwar, is currently working in a private hospital in Dehradun after doing a GNM course. Prashant is now waiting to complete B-2 training in German language. After this, he will be able to start a job in Germany with a monthly salary of Rs 2.5 to 3.5 lakh, for which he has already received an offer letter.

It is clear that the ‘Mukhyamantri Kaushal Unnayan and Global Employment Scheme’ run by the Uttarakhand government has worked on  adding colors in dreams of Prashant.
All the selected youths have expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

They have got the opportunity

Avantika, a resident of Tyagi Road, Dehradun, who is taking training under the scheme, says that if she had taken training in German language from outside, it would have cost up to four lakh rupees. But under the Uttarakhand government, training is being provided at less than half the cost. There is no possibility of any kind of fraud as the selection is done through the government itself.

Aastha Sharma, a resident of Ranipokhari, is also among the selected youths.  Aastha says that the average expenditure on training for about one year is Rs. 1.5 lakh. Uttarakhand government is bearing 20 percent of the expenditure, which includes visa expenses too. She said that under the scheme, they will also get a two-year work visa in Germany.

According to Kavya Chauhan, a resident of Tehri, she had studied BSc Nursing for a government job, but after knowing about the scheme, she decided to make her career in Germany, where she has also received an offer letter for the job.

According to Praveen Lingwal, a resident of Dehradun, his dream of employment abroad is being fulfilled only because of this scheme.
