Dehradun/New Delhi News: Uttarakhand Cabinet Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat made a courtesy call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday in New Delhi.

Firstly, he congratulated Modi on becoming the Prime Minister of the country for third time. Dr Dhan Singh Rawat updated the Prime Minister about the work done by the state government in the field of health, education and cooperation and also tried to obtain Prime Minister’s guidance on future plans.

In the statement issued to media Cabinet Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat stated that he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Dr Rawat informed PM Modi about the development work going on in the state. During the meeting, the progress made in the field of health, education and cooperation in the state and future plans were discussed in detail. The implementation of NEP-2020 in the state, establishment of Vidya Samiksha Kendra, NAAC accreditation of colleges and universities under higher education, giving 50 percent representation to girl students in student unions and councils, implementation of Ayushman Yojana, Prime Minister TB Free Campaign, Vaccination Campaign, progress of hospitals being built in Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham, Chief Minister Ghasiyari Yojana, Madho Singh Bhandari Collective Cooperative Farming Scheme and PACS Computerization, 50 percent reservation to women in cooperative unions and committees of the state and other welfare schemes were also mentioned.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Dr Dhan Singh Rawat for running various schemes on health, education and cooperation in the state. The Prime Minister appreciated that Uttarakhand is moving forward in every field and touching new dimensions of development.
