CM Dhami Boosts Champawat Development with 43 Projects Worth Over ₹115 Crore

CM Dhami inaugurates and lays foundation stones for 43 development projects worth ₹115.23 crore in Champawat

Champawat — Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 43 development projects worth ₹115.23 crore aimed at accelerating the overall development of Champawat district.

Addressing a program organized at Government Girls Inter College (GGIC), Champawat, the Chief Minister inaugurated 22 completed projects worth ₹51.37 crore and laid the foundation stone for 21 new projects worth ₹63.86 crore. He stated that these initiatives would act as milestones in realizing the vision of an ideal Champawat, strengthening the district’s position as a model of balanced and inclusive growth in Uttarakhand.

CM Dhami described Champawat as the soul of Uttarakhand, reaffirming the government’s continuous commitment to transforming it into a model district under the state’s holistic development framework. He emphasized that the government’s top priority is to ensure equitable, sustainable, and quality development across all sectors—education, infrastructure, health, and social welfare.

The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure time-bound and high-quality completion of all projects for which foundation stones have been laid, underscoring the importance of transparency and accountability in execution.

In a heartfelt gesture, CM Dhami joined the girl students of GGIC Champawat for lunch, interacting with them about their education, aspirations, and the facilities available at their school. He encouraged the students to pursue their dreams with confidence and contribute actively to nation-building.

During the program, the Chief Minister also digitally signed the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan pledge, reaffirming the state’s commitment towards building a self-reliant India, a drug-free society, promoting cleanliness, water conservation, and realizing the goal of an ideal Champawat.

Prominent public representatives and officials present at the event included Shyam Narayan Pandey, Anil Dabbu, Shankar Koranga, BJP District President Govind Samant, District Panchayat President Anand Adhikari, Municipal Council President Prema Pandey, Block Chief Achala Bohra, Barakot Block Chief Seema Arya, BJP State Minister Nirmal Mehra, former MLA Puran Singh Fartyal, and several others.
