Chief Minister Dhami extends Raksha Bandhan greetings to the people of the state. Participates in the program under the Chief Minister’s Empowered Sister Festival Scheme

The products being made by the local people through House of Himalaya are in demand all over the world.

Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on Raksha Bandhan. In his message issued on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the holy festival of Raksha Bandhan is a symbol of affection, trust and duty of brother and sister towards each other. He said that this festival associated with our rich, cultural traditions also has historical significance.

The Chief Minister said that the festival of Raksha Bandhan strengthens the feeling of respect and security towards women along with social harmony. The festival of Raksha Bandhan is also a festival associated with the respect of women. He said that the state government is committed to the safety, education, health and prosperity of women and many schemes and programs are being run for their welfare. He said that our efforts towards women empowerment are continuing. Without empowering women, we cannot fulfill the dream of a prosperous Uttarakhand. He also expected the people of the state to cooperate in the creation of an ideal society for the empowerment of women and their progress.

The Chief Minister said that today the representation of our mother power has increased in every field. Women power also has an important role in the development of Uttarakhand. He said that on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, women of the state have also been provided free travel facility in buses operated by Uttarakhand Transport Corporation within the state.

Participates in the program under the Chief Minister’s Empowered Sister Festival Scheme

On the occasion of Rakshabandhan celebrations, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the program under the Chief Minister’s Empowered Sister Festival Scheme at Sumangalam Banquet Hall, Banbasa and congratulated the women power and extended hearty congratulations and best wishes for the holy festival of Rakshabandhan. On this occasion, the women power greeted and welcomed the Chief Minister by applying tilak and tying a Raksha thread. The Chief Minister also honored women who did excellent work in various fields.

During the visit to Banbasa, the Chief Minister made 2 announcements for the development of the area, in which the construction work of very bad motor roads and drains will be done under Banbasa Nagar Panchayat. 10 km of internal roads will be constructed in the rural areas of Banbasa. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also appreciated the handmade Pirul, Aipan, embroidery, knitting, rakhis and other products made by the women of the self-help group from yarn and other local products. He said that the products being made by the local people through the House of Himalaya are in demand all over the world. He said that it is unbelievable that the women power is determined and doing excellent work in their respective fields and is becoming self-reliant along with self-employment.

He said that our effort is to make women more self-reliant and to make them participate in the development of the state by connecting them with self-employment. He said that the development of the state is not possible without the participation of women power. He said that the government is working with priority to provide better market to the products produced and made by women in the state, for which growth centers have been established. He said that because of the mother power as well as the affection, love and blessings of the entire people of the state, today I am getting the energy to serve the state and with everyone’s cooperation, along with ideal Champawat, ideal Uttarakhand will be created.
