Chief Minister inaugurated the three-day “Nanda Devi Lokjaat Fair”.
Made various announcements for Chamoli district.
Chamoli. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Kurud in Chamoli on Wednesday and inaugurated the three-day Nanda Devi Lokjaat Fair. On this occasion, he visited Maa Nanda Devi and offered prayers and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the state.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also made various announcements. The announcement includes construction of playgrounds in Nandanagar, Narayanbagh and Dewal. Security work on both banks of Pranamati river, flood protection work in Dhadarbagh of Tharali. Along with this, the Chief Minister also announced to declare Nanda Devi Lokjaat Fair as a state fair, upgrading Nandanagar Hospital to Sub District Hospital.
Addressing the local people in the program, Chief Minister Dhami said that traditional fairs work to connect us with our roots and culture. He said that our government is preserving the mythological fairs of the state and providing grandeur by adding new dimensions.
The Chief Minister said that the present government is developing while respecting religious faith. He said that the state government is working for transparent recruitment examinations keeping in view the future of the youth in the state. While on the one hand the government has effectively stopped copying by making anti-copying law, on the other hand, it has sent more than 100 culprits who cheated in the recruitment examinations in the state to jail. The Chief Minister said that the result of the working system of the government is that till now more than 16 thousand youth have received appointment letters.
He said that the work of sustainable development is also going on at a rapid pace in the state. Because of that Uttarakhand stands at the first position in sustainable development in the country. The Chief Minister said that Badrinath and Kedarnath are being developed under the direction of the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi.
On this occasion, Tharali MLA Bhupal Ram Tamta, Temple Committee Chairman Sukhbir Rautela, Rakesh Gaur, Fair Committee Chairman Rekha Devi, Prakash Gaur, Kripal Singh, Chief Bharti Farswan, District Panchayat Member Nandita Rawat, Harendra Singh, Surendra Singh and a large number of local people were present.
