CM Dhami assesses the preparation for Uttarakhand Global Investors’ Summit-2023

Dehradun: A meeting of the State Government’s advisory group was held in a hotel on Subhash Road to prepare the outline for the Summit. The meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Along with the Chief Minister, members of his cabinet, top officials of the government and industrialists of the state participated the meeting in order to create a friendly environment for investment in Uttarakhand. While addressing the media, after the meeting of the State Government Advisory Group, CM Dhami said that the Global Investors’ Summit is proposed in the month of December. He asserted that this time the state Government aims to get the investment worth Rs. 2.5 lakh crores. Road shows will also be organised to bring in investment from other states and countries.

It may be recalled that Uttarakhand will be organising a Global Investors’ Summit in the first half of December in order to attract capital and corporate houses to set up units here. The Summit will be organised in FRI (Forest Research Institute of India), Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is determined to ensure greater investment in the state so that employment of the local youth can be assured.

The dates of the Global Investors’ Summit have been fixed for the first half of coming December. It is hoped that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate this summit and it will prove to be a milestone in the development of Uttarakhand.
