CM Dhami Hoists National Flag on 79th Independence Day, Administers Pledge for National Unity

Dehradun: On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami hoisted the national flag at the CM residence and administered the pledge for national unity. Extending his greetings to the people of Uttarakhand, the Chief Minister paid tribute to the brave heroes who made the supreme sacrifice for India’s freedom and sovereignty.

Remembering those who lost their lives in the recent disaster in Dharali and other affected regions, CM Dhami offered condolences to the bereaved families and assured that proper rehabilitation arrangements would be ensured for the disaster-hit areas.

Highlighting India’s growing stature under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Dhami said that the nation’s global recognition has increased remarkably and several historic decisions have been taken. He added that reconstruction and development works are progressing rapidly in Uttarakhand.

The Chief Minister reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to the holistic development of Uttarakhand, stating that long-term plans for the next 25 years are being implemented. He emphasized that with public cooperation, Uttarakhand will be transformed into one of the leading states of the country.
