DEHRADUN: A review meeting was held on Saturday under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Savin Bansal regarding pending complaints in CM Helpline and Centralized Public Grievance Redressal and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS).
The DM directed the officials that the department should understand the spirit of CM Helpline, Grievance Redressal System. He said that the number of complaints is not just a figure, but it is an indicator of harassment, lack and demand. He said that the complaints received on CM Helpline portal should be resolved at the level of first line officers. He instructed the officials that the district should remain on top in the review of CM. He directed the departments to settle the complaints within a week and submit the report.
The District Magistrate directed the departmental officials to settle the cases of CM Helpline within a week. On the other hand, DFO Mussoorie and Superintending Engineer Irrigation, Electricity and Drinking Water were directed to submit the report on complaints related to Forest Department, Irrigation and Drinking Water.
Bansal expressed displeasure with the departmental officers who attended the meeting with incomplete information and directed them to attend with complete details. He directed that the officers should read the rules and resolve the matter of CM Helpline. Expressing strong displeasure over the non-participation of the officers of some departments, he said that what is more priority than the complaints related to the Chief Minister Helpline that they did not attend the meeting. He directed all the officers to appear immediately with the report.
The District Magistrate directed the officers of engineering departments like Energy, Water Institute, Drinking Water, Irrigation etc. to review the L-1 level complaints at their level. He directed the Superintendent of Police City to resolve the police related complaints within a week.
Chief Development Officer Abhinav Shah, Additional District Finance and Revenue KK Mishra, Municipal Commissioner Hemant Kumar, Chief Education Officer Vinod Kumar Dhoundiyal, District Development Officer Sunil Kumar, Superintending Engineer PWD Shri Parmar, Water Institute Namit Ramola and officers of concerned departments were present in the meeting.
