Dehradun – In view of the heavy rain warning issued by the Meteorological Department, the District Magistrate of Dehradun has declared a precautionary one-day holiday in all educational institutions across the district on Sunday, August 4.
The order applies to all government, non-government, aided, private schools, and colleges. The District Magistrate’s office has emphasized that the decision has been taken in the interest of student safety, and all institutions must strictly comply with the directive.
Meanwhile, the district administration has urged citizens to remain alert and avoid stepping out of their homes unless absolutely necessary, given the prevailing weather conditions.
