DEHRADUN: Savin Bansal to Hold Multi-Purpose Camp in Tyuni

DEHRADUN: In a bid to extend government welfare schemes to remote areas, Dehradun District Magistrate Savin Bansal will hold a multi-purpose camp in Tyuni on 20 March. The initiative aims to provide essential services, such as pension distribution, health check-ups and issuance of critical certificates, directly to local residents.

Ahead of the camp, Bansal will visit Chirmiri Top in Chakrata on March 19 to participate in a conclave of newly formed forest panchayats. The discussions will focus on strengthening these panchayats and introducing district-level disaster relief funds for the first time. These funds are expected to play a crucial role in forest fire prevention and enhancing fire watchers’ capabilities.

In the Hanol temple premises the DM will hold discussions with the locals and priests on the issues such as the temple’s master plan and expansion proposals. Additionally, he will attend a major conclave in Koti Kanasar, bringing together 200 newly established forest panchayats to discuss conservation efforts and administrative support.

At the multi-purpose camp in Tyuni, residents will have access to a one-stop solution for government schemes, including Ayushman health cards, pension schemes, income certificates, farmer credit cards, and employment-oriented training. The initiative is expected to streamline application processes and improve service delivery for rural communities.

DM Bansal has instructed all departmental officials to be fully prepared to provide on-the-spot assistance, emphasizing that any negligence in this effort will not be tolerated. He reiterated the administration’s commitment to bridging the gap between government services and remote villages, ensuring that even the most inaccessible areas receive essential support.
