According to Pandit Kamleshwar Prasad Chamoli, Acharya-
10 अक्टूबर एवं 11 अक्टूबर दुर्गा अष्टमी एवं नवमी पे इस बार असमंजस बना है अष्टमी 10 को करें या 11 को 10 अक्टूबर बृहस्पतिवार को दोपहर 11:30 के उपरांत अष्टमी लग रही है एवं 11 अक्टूबर 11:30 तक अष्टमी रहेगी तत्तउपरांत नवमी का प्रादुर्भाव होगा जो लोग अष्टमी करना चाहते हैं वह 10 अक्टूबर 11:00 बजे के बाद अष्टमी कर सकते हैं 11 अक्टूबर अष्टमी और नवमी भी है तो 11 अक्टूबर अष्टमी एवं नवमी में कन्या पूजन व्रत संपन्न कर सकते हैं
