Investors Explore Opportunities in Tourism and Education Sectors in Uttarakhand

DEHRADUN: A delegation of prominent investors met with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his residence on Monday to explore investment opportunities in the fields of tourism and education. Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bahuguna was also present during the meeting.

The delegation included Prateek Suri, CEO of Maser Group; Hemant Maini, UK Head of MDR Investment Company; Aditya Vikram Somani, Vice President of Business Development; and Urvashi Sahay, Global Management Consultant.

Chief Minister Dhami welcomed the investors and highlighted the state’s commitment to promoting industry-friendly policies. He informed them that Uttarakhand has implemented a single-window clearance system to facilitate swift approvals and streamline processes for setting up businesses. A comprehensive one-stop service is available for all required approvals and formalities.

He further assured the investors that the state has an adequate land bank to support industrial development and that a robust policy framework has been established to attract and support investments. The government is actively fostering strong coordination and communication with potential investors.

“The state offers immense investment opportunities across sectors, especially in health, education, and tourism,” said Chief Minister Dhami. “Our focus is on generating local employment, curbing migration, and maintaining a balance between economic development and environmental conservation.”

He emphasized that Uttarakhand is ready to partner with industrial groups to drive sustainable growth and development in the region.
