Dehradun — Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has extended his heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to the entire government machinery, administration, police department, and all officers and personnel involved in the successful, safe, and peaceful organization of the Kanwar Mela 2025.
Commending the seamless execution of the massive religious gathering, the Chief Minister stated that all concerned departments worked with exemplary coordination and vigilance. Their collective efforts ensured robust arrangements for security, traffic management, medical aid, sanitation, and other essential services throughout the duration of the fair, which witnessed the participation of crores of devotees.
“Uttarakhand is Devbhoomi, the land of the gods, where lakhs of devotees from across the country and abroad arrive to take part in sacred religious events. Such occasions require meticulous planning, efficient management, and inter-departmental coordination — all of which were executed commendably this year,” said Chief Minister Dhami.
He especially appreciated the cooperation of the State Police, Disaster Management Team, Health Department, Municipal Corporations, Transport Department, voluntary organizations, and the general public. The Chief Minister noted that this spirit of collective effort not only ensured the smooth conduct of the event but also enhanced the religious and cultural stature of Uttarakhand on the national stage.
