PAURI: Yogi Adityanath, Dhami inaugurate development projects

YAMKESHWAR: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated various  construction, beautification work including the Gram Panchur Barat Ghar  at Government Primary School Thangar under Yamkeshwar Vikaskhand of Pauri district, on 8 February.

On this occasion, both the CMs interacted with the school children, visited the school and released the annual booklet of IGL (India Glycols Limited). They also  visited Government Junior High School Kandi and Government Primary School Vithyani to inaugurate infrastructure projects and to interact with the school children. 

In his address, Yogi Adityanath shared his emotional connection with  Government Primary School Thangar, where he studied until class five. He said that he is feeling immense happiness coming to his school. He noted that school is now looking equipped with a new look and modern facilites. Many important activities have been conducted here in the last one year, which are commendable. He congratulated and thanked the Uttarakhand government and CM Pushkar Singh Dhami for effectively implementing the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Yogi Adityanath stated that facilities like smart classrooms, state-of-the-art labs, washrooms and virtual classes have been provided by IGL (India Glycols Limited). Earlier so many resources were not available, but today with the effective use of technology, big changes are coming in the field of education. If the government has a clear vision and the society actively participates in it, then remarkable progress is possible in any field. He said that earlier despite limited resources, the Gurus have done excellent work with discipline and dedication. Cultural programs, Bal Sabhas, sports competitions were organized in schools, which had a positive impact on the personality development of the students. The students of that time moved forward and succeeded despite adverse circumstances.

Adityanath further said that today along with the government, private institutions are also cooperating in the field of education and contributing to the development of schools in the region. The government and society are working together to improve the quality of education, due to which government schools are being transformed. Now teachers also have an important responsibility to provide the best education to children by making good use of these resources.

Dhami welcomed Adityanath to the state  on behalf of all the people of Uttarakhand, emphasizing the pride and respect the state holds for him. CM Dhami reminded that despite being born in an ordinary family, Yogi Adityanath is today the Chief Minister of the most populous state in the country. He said that today Uttar Pradesh has become an excellent state. There is a continuous development of roads and infrastructure in the state.

Dhami stated that Uttarakhand is constantly moving forward. According to the report of NITI Aayog, Uttarakhand ranks first in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The unemployment rate in the state has come down. He said that many efforts have been made towards quality education in Uttarakhand. Modern lab facilities, virtual classrooms, washrooms, libraries and other necessary resources have been provided in the schools of the state. 

Chief Minister Dhami urged Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to extend the Prayagraj-Meerut Ganga Expressway to Haridwar and reaffirmed Uttarakhand’s commitment to quality education. The Chief Minister urged the students to make education their priority and study with loyalty and dedication. 

Rajendra Singh Rawat, Adityanath’s former teacher, said that Adityanath was very promising in studies and every field since childhood. He praised Adityanath’s hard work and commitment towards education, which have been instrumental in his success.

On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Haridwar MP and former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, former Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat, MLA Renu Bisht, IGL Senior Director Umashankar Bhartiya, District Magistrate Dr. Ashish Chauhan, Chief Development Officer Girish Gunwant were present.
