Durga Ashtami and Navami symbolize worship of divine feminine power: Dhami

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Uttarakhand on the auspicious occasions of Durga Ashtami and Navami.
In his message, the Chief Minister said that Durga Ashtami and Navami are festivals dedicated to the worship of divine power, revered in the form of the Mother Goddess. He noted that these sacred days of Navratri symbolize devotion, inner strength, and spiritual awakening.
The Chief Minister further stated that these festivals remind society of the importance of women empowerment and the dignity of motherhood. He emphasized that worshipping Goddess Durga not only inspires faith but also spreads positive energy, enthusiasm and harmony in life.
CM Dhami called upon the people of the state to strengthen the spirit of social unity, compassion and service on these pious occasions, while drawing inspiration from the ideals of Mother Goddess.
