Dehradun: Secretary, Disaster Management, Vinod Kumar Suman informed that the Indian Meteorological Department, Dehradun has issued a red alert for heavy rainfall in several parts of the state on June 30, 2025.
Considering the risk of disaster, the state government has declared a one-day holiday for all educational institutions on June 30. This includes all government, non-government and private schools from classes 1 to 12, as well as all Anganwadi centres across the state.
The secretary said that these institutions will remain closed on 30 June as a precautionary measure.
