Following is the popular Dutch Proverb that suits and supports the above title completely. It is – An ounce of patience is worth a pound of brains.
Almost all men favour and praise patience but few of them practice it. In fact, patience is that master key that has the skills to open any lock in this world. It is a medicine which is good for all diseases. Many people are born crying, live complaining and die with lot of regrets. The reason is to take life more seriously. We forget to take brake from our hectic schedule of life. We don’t give time to resolve the complications of life and make our time better.
Don’t give extra attention to the complications of life. Our extra care towards the problems makes the life more complicated. Ups-downs, happiness-misery, prosperity-hardship are the diverse colours of life. Life is the combination of all these colours and each colour of life is beautiful and important. Sometimes it is the need of time to sit and relax and adopt the policy of wait & watch. This is also the need in the time of crisis to steal a pause from the complications of life and to analyse the earlier days of your life. You’ll realize that how the tough situations entered in your life but you easily overcame that period of crisis just by maintaining positive attitude, patience moreover self-belief. Situations turned bad to worse and worse to worst but ended up in the wonderful experiences of life, giving invaluable teachings and lessons. Our life is never designed straight & smooth, it is made up of ups-downs, happiness-misery and prosperity & hardship. Straight & smooth life is not considered good. A good and progressive life works on the theory of ECG. As the straight line in the ECG report is not a good symptom. Same way straight and smooth life can be boring, tiresome and having no scope of prosperity in future. Ups-downs, happiness-misery, prosperity-hardship are the gifts of life. In the absence of one, another is incomplete. If you enjoy each and every gift of life, your life will become heaven on earth. It’ll be more exciting and inspiring than earlier.
The phrase “Rest Is The Best Policy” may sound cliché, but it holds a profound truth. Rest is not merely a period of inactivity. It is a vital process that allows our mind and body to rejuvenate and repair. Just as a working machinery requires regular maintenance to perform at its best, same way our body and mind need rest to function optimally.
The biggest irony is, it is crucial to note that rest does not necessarily mean doing nothing. Rest can be in many forms. It is important to find what works best for you. Some people find solace in engaging in hobbies or activities they enjoy. Such as reading, painting or gardening. Others may find relaxation through meditation, yoga or mindfulness practices. The key is to find activities that promote a sense of calm and rejuvenation in you. Choose an activity and make it a hobby that allows you to recharge and replenish your energy levels.
In a nutshell, I would like to say that rest is not a luxury; it is a necessity. By making rest a priority and incorporating it into our daily lives, we can achieve a better balance and increased productivity in our life. In today’s fast-paced and demanding world, it can be easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We are constantly bombarded with responsibilities, deadlines and commitments. We have little time for relaxation and rest. However, it is essential to recognize the importance of rest and understand that it is not a luxury but a necessity for our overall well-being. Remember, rest is the best policy, and it is time to embrace its benefits and make it an integral part of our lives.
