Dehradun, July 22: The counting of votes for the three-tier Panchayat elections in Dehradun district will be held on July 31, with the district administration setting up 235 counting tables across the six development blocks. Preparations are in full swing under the supervision of Nodal Officer (Personnel)/Chief Development Officer Abhinav Shah.
Each table will have one supervisor and four counting personnel, totaling 1,175 personnel for the entire operation. The first randomization of counting staff was conducted on July 22, with a 25% reserve workforce to ensure smooth proceedings.
Block-wise Table Allocation:
Chakrata: 24 tables for 137 polling stations
Kalsi: 24 tables for 130 polling stations
Vikasnagar: 60 tables for 247 polling stations
Sahaspur: 50 tables for 242 polling stations
Raipur: 30 tables for 61 polling stations
Doiwala: 47 tables for 273 polling stations
Key officials including Chief Education Officer VK Dhoundiyal, District Information Science Officer Ranjit Singh Chauhan, and ADIO Ankush Pandey were present during the randomization process.
