UTTARAKHAND: CM Dhami Launches Poster of Hindi Film “5 September”

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today unveiled the poster of the upcoming Hindi film “5 September” at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office. The film, shot entirely in Uttarakhand, aims to bring the state’s rich cultural heritage, breathtaking natural beauty, and local talent to a national audience.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand is fast emerging as a preferred destination for film production. He highlighted the proactive role of the state government in supporting filmmakers under the state’s film policy, which offers comprehensive assistance to producers and directors.

“Our film policy is designed to attract filmmakers to Uttarakhand, which not only promotes tourism but also generates employment opportunities for local youth,” said the Chief Minister. “Films like ‘5 September’ play a vital role in giving a new identity to our culture and promoting the talent of our people.”

Wishing the film’s team success, he expressed hope that the movie would strike an emotional chord with audiences across the country.

The event was attended by the film’s director Kunal Shamsher Malla and prominent cast members including Sanjay Mishra, Brijendra Kala, Rishabh Khanna, Bhuvan Khanna, and Deepraj Rana.
