Haldwani — Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took part in the three-day Prana Pratishtha Mahotsav held at the historic Kalu Siddha Temple in Haldwani on Saturday. During the ceremony, he performed a traditional puja, offered a ceremonial canopy (chhatra) and prayed for the happiness, well-being and prosperity of the people of Uttarakhand.
Inspecting the newly developed temple complex, the Chief Minister emphasized that the Kalu Siddha Temple is a revered spiritual center and a vital part of the region’s cultural identity. He reiterated the state government’s commitment to promoting development while preserving Uttarakhand’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage.
Several prominent dignitaries graced the occasion, including MP Ajay Bhatt, MLAs Banshidhar Bhagat and Ram Singh Kaida, Mayor Gajraj Singh Bisht, BJP District President Pratap Singh Bisht, Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat, DIG Kumaon Riddhim Aggarwal, District Magistrate Vandana Singh and Senior Superintendent of Police Prahlad Narayan Meena.
