UTTARAKHAND: Health Security Camp for Journalists and Their Families on 17 June

Dehradun: On the initiative of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, a special Health Security Camp will be organized for journalists and their family members on Tuesday, June 17. The camp will commence at 11:00 AM at the Information Directorate campus, Ring Road, Dehradun.

Giving high priority to the well-being of media professionals, the Chief Minister had directed officials to ensure comprehensive health facilities through this camp. In accordance with his instructions, the Health Department and Information Department are jointly organizing the event.

A team of senior doctors from Government Doon Medical College will conduct free health checkups and consultations during the camp. As many as 265 types of health tests will be offered completely free of cost.

Medical Specialists Available at the Camp:

Senior Physicians: Dr. Vivekanand Satyavali, Dr. Ankur Pandey

Pediatrician: Dr. Ashok Kumar

ENT Specialist: Dr. Nitin Sharma

Ophthalmologist: Dr. Shanti Pandey

Cardiologist: Dr. Amar Upadhyay

Gynecologist: Dr. Chitra Joshi

Orthopedist: Dr. Anil Joshi

Dentists: Dr. Devashish Sawai, Dr. Yogeshwari

Surgeon: Dr. Dinesh Chauhan

Urologist: Dr. Manoj Vishwas

Skin and Mental Health Specialists will also be present.

Director of Medical Education, Dr. Ashutosh Sayana, informed that the camp is being held with the aim of ensuring comprehensive and accessible health services for journalists.

He emphasized that journalists are vital pillars of society, and maintaining their health is essential. With this vision, the government has launched this initiative and plans to hold similar camps regularly in the future to ensure the continued well-being of journalists and their families.
