Dehradun – A massive cleanliness and shramdaan campaign will be conducted across Uttarakhand on Sunday, 22nd June 2025, from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, under the guidance of Justice Manoj Tiwari, Executive Chairman of the Uttarakhand State Legal Services Authority, Nainital.
The campaign will cover all public areas—including district headquarters, tehsils, gram panchayats, nagar panchayats, gram sabhas, municipalities, and municipal corporations—with active participation from both government and non-government organizations, including NGOs, bar associations, trade bodies, and local citizens.
The drive will begin with a cleanliness pledge, where participants will commit to maintaining cleanliness and making it a regular part of their lives.
Seema Dungrakoti, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Dehradun, informed that judicial officers, administrative officials, staff from various departments, students from schools and colleges, NGO representatives, members of Vyapar Mandals, Municipal Corporation personnel, and common citizens will enthusiastically take part in this mega campaign.
An open appeal has been made to all residents of Dehradun district to join the campaign in large numbers on 22nd June at 7:00 AM and contribute to making their surroundings clean and beautiful.
