DEHRADUN: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday, October 28, greeted happy Diwali, Dhanteras, Govardhan Puja and Bhaiya Dooj to the people of the state. On this occasion, the Chief Minister, wished happiness, peace and prosperity to the people. He said that Dhanteras is a festival of worship of Lord Dhanvantari, the god of health. He has wished that Lord Dhanvantari may provide happiness, prosperity and health in all of our lives.
CM Dhami, describing the holy festival Diwali as a symbol of happiness and prosperity, has extended heartfelt wishes to all the people of the state on the holy festival of Diwali. He said that with the blessings of Maa Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha, happiness, prosperity, peace and health should be infused in the lives of all of us.
The Chief Minister said that this festival of Diwali is also a festival of national identity and pride. He has also wished that this festival of light brings wealth, splendor, fame, opulence and prosperity in the lives of all of us.
The Chief Minister said that the festival of Diwali also gives the message of truth, good and dignity. This festival of lamps is also associated with the return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile. The festival of Diwali is a symbol of the victory of good over evil and light over darkness.
Dhami said that Govardhan Puja is a symbol of conservation of economic and cultural resources of the society and the country. Congratulating and wishing the people of the state, especially women, on the auspicious festival of Bhaiya Dooj, the Chief Minister said that this festival also demonstrates the mutual love of brothers and sisters, respect for the mother power and their importance in the family and society.
The Chief Minister said that on the festival of Diwali, by assimilating the mantra of ‘Vocal for Local’ of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we can also contribute to the fulfillment of the resolution of self-reliant India by promoting the promotion and dissemination of local products as much as possible.
