UTTARAKHAND NEWS: Tiranga Shaurya Samman Yatra Held in Rishikesh to Celebrate Operation Sindoor’s Success

Rishikesh – A grand Tiranga Shaurya Samman Yatra was organized in Rishikesh on Saturday to honor the success of Operation Sindoor carried out by the Indian Army. The Yatra commenced from Punjab Sindh area Dharamshala on Mukherjee Marg and culminated at Triveni Ghat, attracting enthusiastic participation from the public.

Throughout the Yatra route, shopkeepers and locals expressed their reverence by showering flowers and extending a warm welcome to the procession.

Addressing the gathering at Gandhi Pillar, Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya praised the bravery and determination of Indian soldiers. She remarked, “Operation Sindoor is a moment of immense pride for every Indian. Our courageous soldiers entered enemy territory and eliminated over 100 terrorists, sending a clear message that India will not tolerate terrorism in any form.”

Rekha Arya credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s leadership for empowering the armed forces and enhancing national security. “This operation has avenged the grief of countless Indian families and demonstrated India’s resolve against terrorism,” she added.

The event witnessed participation from several prominent leaders, including State Organization General Secretary Ajay Kumar, former Cabinet Minister Premchand Agarwal, Doiwala MLA Brijbhushan Gairola, BJP District President Rajendra Tadiyal, Mayor Shambhu Paswan, current Mayor Anita Mamgain, Mandal President Manoj Dhyani, District Vice President Dinesh Sati, Pratik Kalia, and District General Secretary Deepak Dhamija, among others. Hundreds of citizens also joined the Yatra to pay tribute to the armed forces.

Following the Yatra, Minister Rekha Arya took part in the Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat. Speaking on the occasion, she said, “I prayed to Maa Ganga for the continued strength and valor of our armed forces and for India’s growing stature on the global stage.”
