There may be drizzle in the plains and snowfall in the hilly areas.
Uttarakhand: After a long time, the weather is ready to change in Uttarakhand. The weather is going to change from 8 December. The Meteorological Department has predicted snowfall along with light rain in the hilly areas of the state, due to which the temperature from the mountains to the plains may fall and the chill may increase. The Meteorological Department has instructed to take precautions in the hilly areas as well as the plains on 8 and 9 December.
After a long gap of more than a month in the state, the weather is changing once again. A yellow alert for December 8 was issued in Tehri, Dehradun, Pauri, Champawat, Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar of the state. Under which there is a possibility of lightning and rain along with thunder at some places.
As per the Meteorological Department, on 8 and 9 December, there may be rain and snowfall at some places in the areas of 2500 meters and above in the state of Uttarakhand. While there may be light rain in the plains of Uttarakhand, due to which the temperature may fall. As per the forecast, the weather will again become dry in the state after 10 December, but due to the fall in temperature, the biting cold will persist.
