UTTARAKHAND: Visually Impaired Children’s Song Leaves President Murmu Moved

Dehradun: A deeply touching moment unfolded on Friday when President Droupadi Murmu grew visibly emotional as visually impaired students from the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (NIEPVD) sang a heartfelt birthday song in her honour.      

The children rendered the timeless melody “Baar baar din ye aaye, baar baar dil ye gaaye, tum jiyo hazaaron saal” with such purity and harmony that the entire hall resonated with warmth, admiration, and applause.

The poignant scene occurred during President Murmu’s three-day visit to Uttarakhand, which commenced on Thursday.

President Murmu’s interaction with the children is being hailed as one of the most heartfelt highlights of her Uttarakhand visit.
