On May 25, Thursday, Uttarakhand gets its first Vande Bharat train to the passengers moving between Doon to Delhi. PM will flag off the train through virtual medium today.
After which the distance between Doon to Delhi will be covered in just four and half hours.
The train is equipped with hi-tech facilities.
Passengers will feel like travelling in this flight.
Along with the facilities of the passengers, complete security arrangements have also been made in it. The train is equipped with facilities like 180 degree swivel chairs, 32 inch large TV screen, bio vacuum toilets, touch free washroom system, CCTV surveillance, Wi-Fi facility, automatic sliding doors and fire control system.
There will also be facility of cafeteria. Vande Bharat train to be operated from Doon to Delhi was trailed on Tuesday.
The train left Delhi’s Anand Vihar Railway Station at 5:30 am on Tuesday and reached the Dehradun platform at 9:50 am. The train took 4 hours 20 minutes to reach Doon. Vande Bharat will be the 18th train in the country to run between Doon-Delhi (Anand Vihar Terminal). This train is also called Train-18. Uttarakhand residents as well as tourists will be benefited by the start of operation of Vande Bharat train.
On May 25, today, PM Narendra Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat train. After this, the regular operation of this train will start from May 29. This train will leave Doon at 7 am and reach Anand Vihar Railway Station at 11:45 am via Haridwar, Roorkee, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut. After this, leaving Delhi at 17:50, it will reach Doon at 22:35. Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav has reached Doon to flag off the Vande Bharat train. Quoting railway sources, the railway minister also inspected the platform. Doon railway station is being decorated.
According to Sudhir Singh, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Northern Railway, on May 25, Vande Bharat Express from Doon to Delhi will be flagged off by PM Modi through virtual medium. Preparations for this have been completed. Its trial has also been successful. After which a schedule has also been made regarding the operation of the train from May 29.
The fare will be: The chair car fare in the Vande Bharat train running between Doon-Delhi has been fixed at ₹ 900/- and executive chair car fare is ₹ 1,650/-.
