All roads should be made pothole free by October 15.
A total amount of Rs 427.87 crore has been allocated for protection from natural disaster in the state.
Work should be done on a war footing to normalize the situation in all the areas affected by heavy rains in the state.
Secretaries, heads of departments and all District Magistrates should regularly review the reconstruction works.
Physical verification of the works that have been completed should be done. The roads which are currently closed should be made operational as soon as possible.
Arrangements should be made for permanent treatment of roads at places sensitive from the disaster point of view.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami instructed to the officials during the review of the Disaster Management and Rehabilitation Department on Tuesday. The Chief Minister directed the officials to make all the conditions normal in the disaster affected areas in the state. It should be ensured that the general public does not face any kind of problem. For this, all departments should work in coordination and solve the problems. The damage caused in the disaster affected areas should be assessed and compensation should be done as per the standards. All District Magistrates should work towards making their districts an ideal district. The process of displacement of people from the villages from where they are to be displaced should also be done soon.
The Chief Minister directed the District Magistrates to regularly conduct on-site inspection of various arrangements in the districts.
The CM directed the officials to ensure foolproof arrangements to prevent water-borne diseases after the rainy season. The Chief Minister has directed the Health Department to run regular awareness campaigns to prevent water-borne diseases. He has given strict instructions to the officials that any kind of negligence in the cleanliness system will not be tolerated. Along with the cleanliness system in hospitals, the CM instructed to provide all the basic facilities to the patients. He instructed to take special care of the repair and cleanliness of internal roads in Municipal Corporations, Municipal Councils and Nagar Panchayats.
A total amount of Rs 427.87 crore has been allocated for protection from natural disaster in the state in the financial year 2024-25. In this, Rs 386.87 crore has been released from the State Disaster Relief Fund, Rs 15 crore from the State Sector Reduction Item and Rs 26 crore from the State Sector Non SDRF Item. An additional amount of Rs 95 crore is being given to the departments for the restoration and rehabilitation item of the State Disaster Relief Fund. For this, an amount of Rs 50 crore is being given to the Public Works Department, Rs 15 crore to PMGSY, Rs 20 crore to Drinking Water Corporation and Rs 10 crore to UPCL.
Vice Chairman of State Disaster Management Advisory Committee Vinay Rohila, Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu, Secretary R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Shailesh Bagoli, Secretary Disaster Management and Rehabilitation Vinod Kumar Suman, Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey, R.C Ajay Mishra, Additional Secretaries of the concerned departments, department heads and all District Magistrates were present in the meeting.
