Vidhan Sabha budget session started today. CM Dhami paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of the Assembly.
DEHRADUN: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of the Assembly Ritu Khanduri Bhushan in the Assembly today. Cabinet Minister Premchand Aggarwal, MLAs Khajan Das and Parvati Das were also present on this occasion.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) in the presence of Speaker of the Assembly Ritu Khanduri Bhushan. It may be recalled that this time the budget session of the Assembly is being conducted under the National e-Vidhan Application(NeVA).
E-Vidhan Sabha system has been adopted to make the work of the Assembly digital and paperless in Uttarakhand. Through this, the agenda, answers to the questions asked in the Assembly and other documents will now be made available online to the MLAs. Under this, tablets have been installed on the tables of the MLAs in the Assembly and all the documents are being made available digitally. This will not only help in environmental protection but will also make the proceedings of the Vidhan Sabha more efficient.
