ICC Champions Trophy 2025: India beats New Zealand by 4 wickets 

In the final match between India and New Zealand held in Dubai on 9 March, India defeated New Zealand by 4 wickets and won the Champions Trophy.

Winning the toss and batting first, New Zealand team gave India a target of 252 runs in the final. Which India chased in 49 overs at the loss of 6 wickets.

Chasing the target, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill started well for Team India. There was a partnership of 105 runs for the first wicket between the two. Shubman Gill was dismissed after scoring 31 runs in 50 balls. Virat Kohli was LBW after scoring one run in two balls. Rohit returned to the pavilion after scoring 76 runs in 83 balls. Shreyas Iyer played an innings of 48 runs in 62 balls. Axar returned to the pavilion after scoring 29 runs in 40 balls. Hardik Pandya was dismissed after scoring 18 runs in 18 balls. While KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja remained unbeaten.
