Radha Raturi Sworn In as Chief Information Commissioner of Uttarakhand

Dehradun: In a formal ceremony held at Raj Bhavan on Saturday, Uttarakhand Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) administered the oath of office to Radha Raturi as the new State Chief Information Commissioner. Alongside her, Kushala Nand and Devendra Kumar Arya were sworn in as State Information Commissioners.

The Governor congratulated the newly appointed officials and extended his best wishes for their tenure in upholding transparency and accountability through the Right to Information Act.

The swearing-in ceremony was graced by the presence of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Cabinet Ministers Satpal Maharaj, Ganesh Joshi, and Subodh Uniyal, as well as former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’. Other notable attendees included MLA Savita Kapoor, Information Commissioners Yogesh Bhatt and Dilip Singh Kunwar, DGP Deepam Seth, former DGP Anil Raturi, Chief Secretary RK Sudhanshu, and several senior officials from the Indian Administrative and Police Services.
