UTTARAKHAND NEWS: Singer Pawandeep Rajan Injured in Road Accident; CM Dhami wishes speedy Recovery

DEHRADUN: Renowned singer and Indian Idol 12 winner Pawandeep Rajan sustained serious injuries in a road accident while traveling from Uttarakhand to Noida. The incident took place on 5 May early morning around 3:40 AM on National Highway 9 near the Gajraula police station area in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh.

According to reports, Rajan’s car collided with a stationary loader parked on the roadside. The impact left Pawandeep, his driver Rahul Singh, and fellow passenger Ajay Mehra injured. Local police, upon receiving information, promptly arrived at the scene and rushed the injured to a private hospital for immediate medical attention.

Due to the severity of Pawandeep’s injuries, he was later referred to a hospital in Noida for advanced treatment. His condition is currently reported as critical, and doctors are closely monitoring his progress.

Pawandeep Rajan, a resident of Champawat, Uttarakhand, is not only celebrated for winning Indian Idol 12 but also serves as the brand ambassador for art, culture, and tourism in Uttarakhand. His family, fans, and well-wishers are deeply concerned about his health.

Preliminary investigations suggest the accident may have been caused by the driver falling asleep at the wheel. Both damaged vehicles have been seized by the police, and a thorough investigation is underway.

As the news spread, an outpouring of support and prayers for Pawandeep’s recovery flooded social media. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, along with several MLAs, folk artists, and fans from across the state, expressed their concern and extended heartfelt wishes for his speedy recovery.
