Dehradun: National Commission for Women (NCW) Chairperson Vijaya Kishor Rahatkar paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his residence on Friday. The Chief Minister extended a warm welcome and felicitated her with a shawl and a memento.
During the meeting, key issues concerning women’s empowerment, the safety of girl children and their overall welfare were discussed in detail. Chief Minister Dhami reiterated that women’s welfare remains one of the top priorities of the Uttarakhand government. He emphasized the importance of strong coordination between the Centre and State to ensure effective implementation of women-centric initiatives.
Uttarakhand State Women Commission Chairperson Kusum Kandwal was also present on the occasion.
