DEHRADUN: The monsoon session of the Uttarakhand Vidhan Sabha will be held from 19 to 22 August at Bharadisain, located in the summer capital Gairsain of Chamoli district. An official order to this effect was issued on Friday by Dhananjay Chaturvedi, Principal Secretary, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs.
Earlier, the Uttarakhand Cabinet in its meeting on June 28 had authorised Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to decide on the dates and venue of the monsoon session. Following this, the Chief Minister approved holding the session at Bharadisain. This will be the second assembly session of the year 2025, during which the Dhami government is expected to table several important bills.
