Uttarakhand Investment Festival 2025: Amit Shah Praises Dhami Government’s Transparent and Visionary Development Model

Rudrapur, Uttarakhand: Union Home Minister Amit Shah lauded the Pushkar Singh Dhami-led government at the Uttarakhand Investment Festival 2025, highlighting the state’s emergence as a model of development marked by transparency, intensity, and foresight. Organized in Rudrapur, the festival celebrated the successful grounding of ₹1 lakh crore in investments following the Global Investors Summit held in December 2023.

Shah commended the ground-level implementation of MoUs worth ₹3.56 lakh crore, which has already created over 81,000 direct jobs and holds the potential for 2.5 lakh indirect employment opportunities through ancillary industries.

He emphasized Uttarakhand’s key role in achieving the vision of a developed India by 2047, citing its spiritual, cultural, and ecological significance. He also acknowledged the expansion of industrial growth into second- and third-tier cities and assured continued central support.

Highlighting the Modi government’s welfare achievements and robust infrastructure investments in Uttarakhand — including ₹1.86 lakh crore in central assistance, road, rail, airport, and ropeway projects — Shah projected the state as a future hub for yoga, Ayurveda, organic farming, tourism, MSMEs, and startups.

He concluded by stating that Uttarakhand is no longer merely a hill state, but a rising center of national economic and spiritual resurgence, thanks to the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
