Dehradun: In light of the continuous heavy rainfall across Dehradun district, the Uttarakhand district administration has announced the closure of all schools on Monday as a precautionary measure.
According to official instructions issued on Sunday, all government, non-government, and private schools operating in the district will remain shut on July 21, 2025. This order applies to all classes from 1 to 12.
The administration stated that the decision was taken in the interest of student safety, given the adverse weather conditions and warnings of further rainfall in the region.
Parents have been advised to ensure their children stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel.
