Dehradun: In view of continuous heavy rainfall and the alert issued by the Meteorological Department, the Dehradun district administration has declared a holiday for all schools on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
The order, issued late Tuesday night by District Magistrate Savin Bansal, applies to all government, non-government, aided, and private schools from Classes 1 to 12 across the district. Anganwadi centers have also been directed to remain closed.
The administration stated that the decision was taken keeping the safety of children as the top priority.
