CM Dhami Orders Impartial Probe and Swift Action on Nainital-Betalghat Incidents

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken serious note of the recent incidents in Nainital and Betalghat and directed officials to ensure impartial and effective action. He stated that the entire matter will be investigated by the Kumaon Commissioner, who has been instructed to submit a detailed report to the government within fifteen days.

Taking immediate administrative steps in view of the incidents, the Chief Minister ordered the transfer of the Circle Officer of Bhawali outside the district, along with the transfer of the Station House Officer (SHO) of Tallital from Nainital district.

The Chief Minister further clarified that all incidents in Nainital and Bhawali, along with the FIRs registered during this period, will now be investigated by the CBCID. He affirmed that the state government will not compromise with law and order under any circumstances and strict action will be ensured against the guilty.
