Dehradun: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday met families affected by the recent disaster and closely understood their pain and circumstances. During his interaction, he assured them that both the Central and State governments stand firmly with every affected family, extending full strength and resources in this difficult time.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, sharing the details on his social media account, said that the Prime Minister has assured special assistance for the reconstruction of damaged houses, schools, hotels, farms, orchards, and essential infrastructure. He further emphasized that if any rules create obstacles in the relief and rehabilitation work, necessary amendments will be made.
CM Dhami expressed gratitude on behalf of the people of Uttarakhand, stating that the Prime Minister’s special affection and sensitivity towards Devbhoomi is deeply appreciated by every resident of the state.
