District Magistrate to Hold Public Hearing in Rishikesh on December 15
Direct redressal of public grievances; administration urges residents to participate
Dehradun: District Magistrate Savin Bansal will conduct a public hearing (Jan Sunwai) at the Rishikesh Tehsil premises on Monday, December 15. The programme will begin at 12 noon. Chief Development Officer Abhinav Shah informed that residents will be able to present their issues, complaints, and applications directly before the District Magistrate during this session.
The District Magistrate, along with officials from various departments, will listen to matters related to public welfare and ensure prompt disposal of grievances. The district administration has appealed to the public to attend the programme in large numbers so that their concerns can be addressed within a defined timeframe.
The CDO has also instructed all departmental officials to be present with complete information regarding pending cases, complaint applications, and department-related matters, enabling on-the-spot resolution of issues.
Following the public hearing, DM Savin Bansal will conduct on-site inspections of the Solid Waste Management Plant at Lal Pani, the Pashulok Barrage, and the Astha Path to review ongoing works and assess ground realities.
