Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami paid tribute to retired Brigadier Mukesh Joshi in Dehradun and assured strict action against culprits. Operation Prahar intensified to maintain law and order.
DEHRADUN: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed deep grief over the demise of retired Brigadier Mukesh Joshi and visited his residence in Johri, Dehradun, to pay his last respects.
During the visit, the Chief Minister met the bereaved family members and conveyed his heartfelt condolences. He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and strength for the family to bear this irreparable loss.
Describing the incident as deeply unfortunate, the Chief Minister assured that strict action would be taken against those responsible. He emphasized that ensuring the safety and security of citizens remains the government’s top priority and that no compromise will be made on law and order.
He directed officials to intensify action against miscreants and anti-social elements under “Operation Prahar” across the state. He stated firmly that anyone attempting to disrupt law and order will not be spared under any circumstances.
On this occasion, Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi was also present and paid tribute to the late Brigadier.
