CM Dhami Reviews Preparations Ahead of PM Modi’s Dehradun Visit on April 14

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami inspects preparations for PM Modi’s April 14 Dehradun visit, reviews security, traffic, and facilities for smooth आयोजन.

DEHRADUN: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted a comprehensive on-ground inspection of preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed visit to Dehradun on April 14, 2026. He reviewed arrangements along the route from Jaswant Ground in Garhi Cantt to Maa Dat Kali Temple, assessing readiness at multiple points.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister took detailed stock of key arrangements, including security, traffic management, parking facilities, drinking water supply, electricity, sanitation, and other essential infrastructure. He directed officials to ensure that all preparations are completed within the stipulated timeline and meet high-quality standards, so that the public attending the event does not face any inconvenience.

Emphasizing the importance of tight security, Dhami instructed all concerned agencies to work in close coordination. He also stressed the need for a well-structured traffic management plan and the prompt availability of emergency services.

At Jaswant Ground, the Chief Minister reviewed preparations related to the stage setup, seating arrangements, and other logistical requirements. He instructed officials to ensure that all arrangements are in line with the dignity and scale of the event, with special focus on cleanliness and beautification.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister also offered prayers at Maa Dat Kali Temple, seeking prosperity for the state and the successful आयोजन of the program. He described the event as highly significant for Uttarakhand.

Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, Rajya Sabha MP and BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, along with senior officials and party representatives, were present during the inspection.
