Sub-District Election Officer Reviews Preparations for Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Process
Nodal officers directed to complete all arrangements in a time-bound and coordinated manner

To ensure the smooth and effective conduct of the upcoming Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign, Sub-District Election Officer Abhinav Shah held a review meeting with all district-level nodal officers and assessed the progress of election-related preparations.
During the meeting, the Sub-District Election Officer directed all concerned departments to complete necessary arrangements within the stipulated timeline. He emphasized that all preliminary and essential election-related tasks should be carried out on a priority basis to avoid any inconvenience during the campaign.
Abhinav Shah stated that the electoral process is the foundation of a democratic system, and therefore every phase of the Special Intensive Revision campaign must be conducted with seriousness, transparency, and efficiency. He instructed officials to ensure strict compliance with the guidelines issued by the Election Commission and complete all preparatory work well in advance.
Detailed discussions were held regarding booth-level arrangements, logistic planning, training programmes, voter list revision work, updating of records, and availability of required resources. The Sub-District Election Officer directed officials to review and strengthen basic facilities at all polling booths to prevent any administrative or technical issues during the revision process.
He also instructed concerned officers to conduct training programmes effectively and ensure that election personnel receive all necessary information in a timely manner. Stress was also laid on maintaining better coordination among departments to expedite the preparations.
Abhinav Shah said that the Special Intensive Revision campaign aims to make the electoral roll more accurate, updated, and error-free, thereby ensuring greater participation of eligible citizens in the democratic process. He expressed confidence that all nodal officers would carry out their responsibilities with dedication and vigilance.
Various aspects related to the election process were discussed in detail during the meeting, and officials were issued necessary directions to accelerate preparations for the upcoming campaign.
