DEHRADUN: On Sunday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was paid a courtesy visit at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office by former Cabinet Minister Premchand Aggarwal along with several legislators. Those present included MLAs Khajan Das, Kishore Upadhyay, Sahdev Pundir, Savita Kapoor, Asha Nautiyal, Renu Bisht, Brij Bhushan Gairola, and Shaktilal Shah.

During the meeting, the public representatives expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for recommending a CBI investigation in the Ankita Bhandari case to ensure a fair, transparent, and impartial probe. They stated that the decision reflects the government’s sensitivity and firm commitment to delivering justice to the victim’s family and has further strengthened public trust in the justice system.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reiterated that the state government is fully committed to ensuring justice for the victim’s family and that no guilty individual will be spared under any circumstances. He emphasized that conducting a transparent investigation and upholding the rule of law remain the government’s top priorities.
