Dehradun/Joshimath:

The Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) has taken a significant administrative step to uphold discipline, transparency, and accountability within its administration by suspending Pramod Nautiyal, Personal Assistant (PA) posted in the Chairman’s Office, with immediate effect.

According to the official order issued by the Committee, serious prima facie irregularities were found in the discharge of the employee’s official responsibilities. In view of the allegations, a show-cause notice was served to Nautiyal on July 3, 2026, seeking his explanation. Simultaneously, a four-member inquiry committee was constituted to conduct a fair, transparent, and comprehensive investigation into the matter.

After examining the explanation submitted by the employee and reviewing the preliminary findings of the inquiry committee, the Committee observed that the allegations appeared to be prima facie substantiated.

The inquiry committee, in its preliminary report, recommended initiating disciplinary proceedings against the concerned employee. It further noted that allowing him to continue in his present position during the investigation could potentially influence or affect the fairness of the inquiry.

Taking these observations into account, BKTC decided to place Pramod Nautiyal under suspension with immediate effect to ensure an impartial and transparent investigation.
