Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami Pays Tribute to Late Padma Shri Shooter Jaspal Rana, Extends Condolences to Family
Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the residence of Padma Shri awardee and internationally acclaimed shooter Late Jaspal Rana in Dehradun on Friday to pay his last respects. The Chief Minister offered floral tributes to the mortal remains of the renowned shooter and expressed profound grief over his demise, describing it as an irreparable loss to the sporting fraternity and the state of Uttarakhand.
Paying homage to the legendary marksman, Chief Minister Dhami said that Jaspal Rana brought immense pride to the nation through his exceptional achievements in shooting and inspired countless young athletes with his dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence. He noted that Rana’s contribution to Indian sports, particularly in the field of shooting, would always be remembered with great respect and admiration.
The Chief Minister met the bereaved family members and conveyed his heartfelt condolences, offering words of comfort and support during this difficult time. He assured them that the state government stands with the family and shares in their grief.
