CM Dhami visits Doon Hospital to inquire about bus accident victims

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami visited Doon Hospital to inquire about injured passengers of the bus accident and assured free treatment.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited Government Doon Medical College Hospital to inquire about the condition of passengers injured in a Himachal Pradesh Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus accident on the Quanu–Minus motor road in the Kalsi area.

The Chief Minister expressed deep condolences over the tragic loss of lives in the accident and prayed for peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families.

During his visit, the Chief Minister met the injured passengers from Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand admitted to the hospital, enquired about their health, and reviewed the treatment arrangements with the medical team. He directed doctors and hospital authorities to ensure prompt, high-quality, and compassionate medical care for all the injured to facilitate their speedy recovery.

The Chief Minister also interacted with the family members of the injured and assured them that the state government stands with them at every step and that no shortage will be allowed in the treatment of the victims.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also spoke over the phone with the Sub-Divisional Medical Officer of Vikasnagar and instructed him to ensure proper and sensitive medical care for the accident victims undergoing treatment in Vikasnagar.

The Chief Minister further assured the Government of Himachal Pradesh that all injured passengers from Himachal Pradesh being treated in Uttarakhand will receive complete and free medical care, fully supported by the Uttarakhand Government.
