Dehradun Domestic LPG e-KYC Deadline Extended to August 23

Over 1.59 lakh consumers yet to complete e-KYC, including 9,243 beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana

Dehradun, August 16, 2026: The e-KYC process for domestic LPG connections is progressing rapidly across Dehradun district. The Government of India had earlier set August 15, 2026, as the deadline for completing e-KYC. Providing an additional opportunity to consumers, the deadline has now been extended to August 23, 2026.

Dehradun district has a total of 7,16,845 domestic LPG connections. Of these, 5,57,546 consumers have completed their e-KYC, while 1,59,299 consumers are yet to complete the process. The pending cases include 9,243 beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY).

The District Supply Department has appealed to all consumers whose e-KYC is still pending to complete the process at the earliest instead of waiting until the last date. Timely completion will help consumers continue to receive uninterrupted domestic LPG services.

Three Easy Ways to Complete e-KYC

Consumers can complete their e-KYC through any of the following three convenient methods:

1. Visit the concerned LPG agency:
Consumers can visit their respective LPG distribution agency and get their e-KYC completed.

2. Through the LPG delivery personnel:
e-KYC can also be completed through the mobile application and biometric device available with the personnel delivering LPG cylinders to consumers’ homes.

3. Through the authorised mobile application:
Consumers can also complete e-KYC themselves by downloading the authorised mobile application of their respective Oil Marketing Company, such as Indane, Bharatgas or HP Gas.

Consumers Urged Not to Wait Until the Last Date

District Supply Officer K.K. Agrawal has appealed to all domestic LPG consumers in Dehradun to complete their e-KYC within the prescribed time limit. He urged consumers not to wait until August 23 and to complete the process at the earliest to ensure continued access to domestic LPG services without disruption.

According to the District Supply Department, consumers who fail to complete their e-KYC by August 23, 2026, may face disruption in the supply of domestic LPG and may be provided LPG at commercial rates instead of domestic rates.

The department has therefore urged all consumers with pending e-KYC to use any of the three available methods and complete the process at the earliest to ensure uninterrupted domestic LPG services.
