CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Pays Tribute to Martyrs at Haldwani Shaheed Smarak
Martyrs’ sacrifice for the unity, integrity and security of the nation will always inspire generations: CM Dhami
Haldwani: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday visited the Shaheed Smarak in Haldwani and paid tribute to the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the unity, integrity and security of the nation. The Chief Minister offered floral tributes at the memorial and remembered the supreme sacrifices made by the martyrs in the service of the country.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Dhami said that the sacrifice of brave martyrs who laid down their lives for the nation will always be remembered. Their dedication, courage, sacrifice and commitment to national duty will continue to inspire citizens and future generations.
The Chief Minister said that the Shaheed Smarak is not merely a place that preserves the memory of the martyrs, but also serves as a source of inspiration for future generations to uphold patriotism, national service and a strong sense of duty. He emphasized that citizens should draw inspiration from the ideals and sacrifices of the martyrs and contribute towards the larger interests of the nation.
CM Dhami said that the state government remains committed to ensuring the honour, welfare and well-being of the families of martyrs. He said continuous efforts are being made to provide necessary support and facilities to martyr families while ensuring that their contribution and sacrifice are remembered with due respect.
The Chief Minister said that the lives of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of the nation will continue to remain a source of inspiration for all. Following their ideals and contributing towards building a stronger, safer and more prosperous Uttarakhand and India would be the true tribute to their sacrifices.
BJP National President Nitin Nabin, BJP Uttarakhand President and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt, MP Ajay Bhatt and several public representatives and dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
