Dehradun | April 3, 2026
In a major step to ensure transparency and efficiency in the LPG distribution system, the district administration has taken strict action against M/s Heera Gas Service following persistent complaints of irregularities.
District Magistrate Savin Bansal had been receiving complaints for a considerable period regarding irregular gas distribution, delays in supply, and alleged malpractices by the agency. Taking the matter seriously, an investigation was ordered, which confirmed the irregularities. It is noteworthy that a case had already been registered against the agency earlier, but due to continued violations, the administration decided to take stringent action.
14,000 LPG Connections Transferred
To safeguard consumer interests and prevent inconvenience, the administration has transferred approximately 14,000 LPG connections from M/s Heera Gas Service to nearby agencies:
- Anil Indane Gas Service
- Arcadia Indane Gas Service
This step ensures uninterrupted gas supply to affected consumers.
Zero Tolerance for Irregularities
The District Magistrate has made it clear that any negligence or irregularity in LPG distribution will not be tolerated. All gas agencies have been directed to strictly comply with government norms. Continuous monitoring is being carried out, and strict action will continue against violators.
QRT Teams Deployed to Prevent Black Marketing
To curb black marketing and ensure 100% home delivery of LPG cylinders, the administration has constituted Quick Response Teams (QRTs) across different areas of the district. These teams are actively inspecting gas agencies and monitoring demand, supply, and distribution processes.

1077, 0135-2626066, 2726066, and WhatsApp number 7534826066—through which 15 complaints related to LPG supply have been registered so far.
The District Food and Civil Supplies Department is ensuring prompt resolution of all complaints through the control room.
